Casey is set to benefit from improved tourism following the announcement that the Warburton Mountain Bike Destination project will be funded under the Building Better Regions Fund – Infrastructure Projects stream.
The project is a significant investment in building a stronger economy and driving jobs for the long term.
This is a fantastic outcome for our local community, with the project receiving $3 million to construct over 100 kilometers of mountain bike trails in the hills surrounding Warburton.
This will have major flow-on benefits across our local community.
This project will be a major economic injection for the Upper Yarra Valley, boosting visitation and therefore creating more jobs which are so critically needed.
It will be a magnet for tourists from all over Australia, who will stay and shop in our wonderful community and return again and again.
