$12 million to boost immunisation

The Liberal National Government will ensure 170,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and adolescents are vaccinated against the flu for free and additionally provide a $12 million to boost a national immunisation education campaign.
Mental health care for young Australians is set for a $51.8 million funding boost. The Coalition Government’s extra investment in the national network of headspace centres and the digital portal, eheadspace, means young people will have access to around 14,000 additional services, shorter wait times and extra clinical staff.
The Morrison Government will invest $52 million to protect Australian teenagers, including those in Casey against meningococcal, with the launch of a new free national program for 14 to 19 year olds. Over 1 million teenagers will receive the free meningococcal A, C, W and Y vaccine, over the next four years.
The Morrison Government will significantly boost support for older Australians with an injection of $106 million to support better facilities, better care and better standards in aged care.
